I dont claim to be a technician for cell phones nor an R&D engineer for any cell phone company. I am just a normal person who wishes to share some info on what cell phone brands in the market deserve our attention and dollars. I am going to enumerate top cell phone companies according to published magazines and newspaper clippings that identify them as best sellers, best designs, popularity, value and social status.
The Apple Iphone is definitely a cellphone from a company that delivered in functionality, style, elegance and social status. However, there are so many technical defects in the first and second editions of this phone. But you have to hand to this new cellphone provider the kudos for elevating a concept phone to worldwide celebrity status for desirability, looks and function.

Samsung is a great innovator, games and sturdiness and great reception of voice signals . It too enjoys great unit sales.
Motorola is indeed the first innovators of the cellphone from the large size mobile phones to the most popular RAZ R models. It failed to respond to the changing market demands such that it has given up on its phone unit deparment,
Sony Ericsson is a wonderful cellphone company that caters mostly to the upper rich. They have so many great cell phone models.
